Introduction
The specification describes CR18 ceramic capacitive pressure sensing element used in the automobile and industry. Capacitance is directly proportional to pressure within its range and with an extremely high linearity. Recommendations for product riveting pressure
Using a servo riveting pressure device or equipment for riveting pressure with a fixed pressure is recommended. The max force of riveting pressure under stroke control mode shall not exceed 20KN, and the direct force of ceramic sensing element shall not exceed 3KN respectively. The ceramic pressure sensing element and sensor may be damaged or output drift may occur due to excessive internal stress of the sensor if the sensing element operates in an environment harsher than that specified in the specification or under too much riveting pressure.

a.Prefer protective design to avoid the sensing element from bearing too much riveting pressure stress;
b.Reduce the overlapping area between sensitive area of ceramic capacitor sensing element and metal shell properly, or increase the distance between sensitive area and metal shell, to minimize output fluctuation caused by the change of their relative positions;
c.To avoid hard contact, it is recommended that the outermost ring of the plastic gasket be properly avoided to avoid force damage at the edge of the ceramic pressure sensing element.

a.PCB PIN diameter is ≥1.2mm; pad diameter is ≥2.2mm; PCB thickness is 0.15~0.80mm; pad surface is tinned or gold plated.
b.It is recommended to use Φ0.8~1.2mm Sn99.3 Cu0.7 or Sn96.5 Ag3.0 Cu0.5 solder wire, containing 2.0% flux and lead free. During welding, soldering iron temperature is ≤370℃, single welding time is ≤3S, single PIN welding times ≤3.
